Search for a English Pastor or English Ministry Director

The Chinese Christian Church of Greater Albany (CCCGA) (https://www.cccga.org/en/) is looking for a part-time or full-time English Pastor or English Ministry Director, depending on candidate’s qualifications and interests.  The primary focus of the ministry includes Sunday sermons, Sunday schools, children’s ministry, and fellowship and discipleship of the English-speaking youth.

Candidates for the full-time English Pastor position are expected to have training in evangelical Christian faith and biblical knowledge at a master’s degree or higher.  If the position is defined as a part-time English pastor, candidates should then have training in evangelical Christian faith and biblical knowledge at a bachelor’s degree or higher.  When the position is defined as a part-time or full-time English Ministry director, candidates are preferred to have training in evangelical Christian faith and biblical knowledge at a bachelor’s degree or higher, although candidates who are equipped with training in evangelical Christian faith and biblical knowledge that are equivalent to a bachelor’s degree may also apply. Candidates who are currently enrolled in a seminary study at a master’s degree are encouraged to apply for either the part-time English Pastor position or the English Ministry Director position (part-time or full-time).

The candidate is expected to have a burden for nurturing youth of Chinese descent while working together with church families and church deacons.  The candidate should also be fluent in English and have knowledge in Chinese culture.  Preferably, the candidate would have youth ministry experience in North America. The candidate should be passionate about training and mentoring believers as well as evangelizing nonbelievers.
