– I. Description of Jesus: Christ is in sovereign control over everything.

– II. Commendation: (None)

– III. Condemnation: Laodicea lived as if it did not need anything from Christ.

– IV. Exhortation: Laodicea should depend on Christ to overcome spiritual bankruptcy, the shame of sin, and spiritual blindness.

– V. Promise: Those who conquer through faith in Christ will fellowship with Him and reign with Him.
